Determination of Silver in Gold Flash bath
Accurately and rapidly monitoring the silver content in a gold flash bath is essential to ensure the brilliance, stability and quality of the final coating. Efficient control allows maintaining the desired shade constant and optimizing the mechanical performance of the deposit, avoiding waste and unwanted variations in the galvanic process. The CDR GalvanLab® analytical method is optimized to perform the analysis in very short times and with the use of micro quantities of sample, making the control even simpler and more sustainable.
Method
Test Type: End Point.
Time testing: 4 minutes
Analysis sessions with multiple samples are possible up to a maximum of 16 tests for CDR GalvanLab®.
Sample Treatment
The sample can be used as is.
Test Principle
Silver content is determined by its reaction with a chromogen that develops a coloration, the optical intensity of which is proportional to the concentration of the analyte in the analyzed sample.
Calibration curve
The calibration curve was obtained by correlating the CDR method with the reference method.
Measuring range
