Determination of Sulfate concentration in process water

Sulfate analysis allows for quick and easy monitoring of the analyte concentration present in process water. Sulfate monitoring is critical to preserving process quality and optimizing operational efficiency.

Test principle

Sulfate ions react with the chromogen in the reagent and generate colored complexes whose absorbance is proportional to the concentration of the analyte in the sample.

Calibration curve

The calibration curve was constructed using standard sulfate solutions. The trend of the curve confirmed an excellent linearity of the system over the whole measuring range.
